A small bistro with a very personal character

Bon Appetit is a small, relaxed bistro and pizzeria in Gruž, a few steps from Dubrovnik's ferry port and harbour. Breakfast and light lunches are our strong point, with a fresh daily special and local Croatian dishes served every day. We're known for our pasta, fresh seafood and oven-baked pizza, in an easy, unpretentious setting with friendly service. Walk-ins are always welcome, no booking needed. A casual stop before catching a ferry or while exploring the Gruž waterfront.

Almost everything you see here — the tables, the painted colours, the little details — was built and improvised by the owner, with his own hands.

Small kitchen, big flames

There is nothing formal about this place. Breakfast for the early ferry crowd, a plate of pasta at noon, pizza and a glass of Croatian wine in the evening. Families, locals, travellers with backpacks still on — everyone gets the same welcome.
